8th Annual Dollar fo' Dollar "Weh Queen Coziah" Culture & History Tour
September 28th, 2013
6pm to 9:30pm

A remembrance of the 1892 Coal Workers Strike on St. Thomas. There will be tour guides, re-enactments, bamboula dancing and drumming, song, coaling exhibit of old photo and postcards, carnival troupe participation, African martial arts and a public art display. Meet at Fort Christian, walking tour includes old police office, main street and steamship offices. Ends at Market Square. Attendees are asked to wear white. The event is free.
