Virgin Islanders can enjoy an extra farmers’ market at Yacht Haven Grande as the farmers and vendors roll out a celebration about bees from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29.
This extra Sunday event (so called because of the five Sundays in September) will feature beekeeper demonstrations.
Additionally, local vendors will have special bee by-products available for sale. Must see demonstrations will spotlight St. Croix’s Wanda Wright of the Wright Apiary, Eldridge “Sparks” Thomas of We Grow Food Inc. and beekeeper Charles Leonard of St. Thomas.
The event is a collaboration of the Yacht Haven Grande Farmers’ Market and the private sector.
