After moving to St. Croix what can we expect in the way of organizations to volunteer with or clubs like quilting, sewing, genealogy, etc. Is there a public pool? Public library?

Not familiar with any clubs like those you mentioned, but here's the link to the Libraries: http://www.virginislandspubliclibraries.org/usvi/

There is a gorgeous public pool out west, all the way to F'sted, on the beach. During the week, it's like having your own private pool. It's EMPTY! I don't recall the name of the park/facility, but there are benches, grills and even a hugh gazebo type building for private functions or if you just want more shade than the seagrapes offer.
