Generator Service/Sales

Not sure if this is the best place to post the question but I'll try.

Considering relocating down to STX or STT and opening a generator sales/service business. Our vacations down there proved that there plenty of generators on the islands. I just didn't know the level of work or demand for work down there. Anyone here have any insight to this? I'm currently a service manager for a large Kohler distributor in a large metro area in the mainland.

Thanks.

Good day TWrizzle,

I live on St. Croix with 20k Kohler generator. Our service person recently passed away and he had a very large clientele on the island...and actually I am looking, as well as my neighbors, for a knowledgeable and responsible person to service us!Also, I believe you could do very well in sales here in the USVI.

Good luck!

You might try BCJ Generators in Gallows Bay at 340-277-5563.

Hi lily0125,

Thanks for the feedback. I am about a year out from making the move. I am gauging interest and looking for any feedback.

Kohler makes great products, where did you buy your generator?  I am considering them and Honda...

Thanks!
