I saw that the Mardi Croix Parade is on STX next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
It is supposedly from LaVallee to Cane Bay on North Shore Rd.
Has anyone been before?
Is it worth going to?
Do they close off North Shore Road?
If so, how early should people get there?

this is the 4th or 5th year and it gets bigger every year i don't go to the parade it comes to me, lol it goes right by my house and yes it's worth going to, not too much else happening on STX saturdays 1pm, you need to come early and find a place to park because the whole road for about 2 miles will be packed, with cars people and horses.

It's great fun! Take a bottle opener...sometimes they hand out cold beer, but it ain't the twist off tops!
