Saturday, January 19, 4 PM to 6:30 PM: Geocache Search at Hamms Bluff led by Don Bailey. Back by popular demand! Don will give us an introduction to this popular new hobby and then lead the search for the Hamms Bluff treasure using handheld Global Positioning System (GPS) units. The treasure at this location, one of six located on St. Croix, was placed by students from the talented and gifted program at Ricardo Richards School. Sunset views from Hamms Bluff should be spectacular! The hike is moderately challenging so be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water to drink. We will provide several GPS units for your use. Free for SEA members, $10 for non-members. Call SEA at 773-1989 to register.

Saturday, January 26, 8 AM to 11 AM: Great Pond Tour. East End Marine Park Interpretive Officer John Farchette will be your guide. The tour will explore the coast, mangrove lagoon and various inter-tidal marine organisms in their natural setting. The group will meet at Estate Great Pond (EEMP offices) at 8 a.m. Please wear appropriate sun protection, mud shoes, and binoculars if you wish. Bring water to drink. Please call 773-1989 to register.
