Do you have a green thumb?
Enjoy learning more about native plants?
SEA invites you to assist our partners at the Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge as a greenhouse volunteer!

When: January 10th or January 12th; 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Where: Sandy Point Greenhouse, at the Refuge entrance
Contact: Claudia Lombard, 773-4554

The Sandy Point greenhouse is used to grow native trees for forest improvement projects on Sandy Point and Green Cay National Wildlife Refuges. There are hundreds of tree seedlings that are outgrowing their pots. Volunteers are needed to mix soil and repot native tree seedlings. Please arrive at the Sandy Point house at 8:30 a.m. Water will be provided. Please bring sun block, a hat, and your own water bottle. If you have gardening gloves, please bring those too!
