I also was wondering this. I was thinking about finding a kids soccer or xc team to help coach. Do they even have cross country on the island, that may not be possible. 🙂

The Community Foundation had a list on their website (don't have the address at hand) of various community agencies a while back. You might do a google search or call their office.

They are all very nice people that work there - if you email or call and explain your interests I am sure they will be very helpful.

Please contact the St. Thomas Humane Society, they always need volunteers and I imagine the Schneider Hospital will be happy to have you also! There may also be some nursing homes that could use volunteers as well.

God Bless You for volunteering!

Thanks also for this information. I am moving down to St Thomas in Nov 08' and would be looking for something like this. I volunteer an avg of 500-1000 hrs a year for different organizations. So I would definately be looking to get involved in the community when I get down there.
