Just saved .37 a gallon on gas with Veteran discount at Road Runners In La Grande Princess.

Newly open and under new management, they offer a veteran discount---showed my Army retired ID, told them I wanted $20, andI was told to go pump $22.

Kudos to the new managment for offering a veteran discount. Every little bit helps, and like Plaza Extra who offers a 5% dicount on purchases over $20, newly open Road Runners offers a veteran discount .

All veterans lets show our appriciation---go save .37 a gallon ----and THANK the owners for the discount.

They have a sign listing: Veterans, Police, Teachers and several others. They did not mention "seniors", but I plan to ask!

Where in La Grande Princess is this gas station located? There's about 4 of them; last time I counted.

First, just stopped and fueled up AGAIN---and received the 10% discount(.37 a gallon).

Second, spoke to owners, and YES, the discount is also for seniors.

Location in La Grande Princess is ; coming from the east, after going thru the five corners intersection it will be your first one on the right. Signs posting on the roadside with identified it, as a sign for the discount for veterans, police, teachers, and fishermen---and a sign posting under new management.

Traveling from the west, Chocolate Restaurant will be on your left, it will be the second gas station after you pass Chocolate.

Those of us who are veterans ... but not retirees ... have no "veteran's" ID card. Will they expect to see our DD-214?

I dont know--I just go in and tell them you a veteran. If you have a VA card, or American legion Post card, if they ask, show them the card.

Cant hurt to try. Good luck!!!!
