Unless he's announcing a new LNG, Propane or Nuclear power plant, its just gonna be same old same old is my guess.

I listened intently to Hodge's presentation. Again...nothing new.

Oh...but someday, after all the dust settles and we have are off fuel oil, Hugo said we can look forward to maybe a 20% reduction in WAPA.

Thanks for nothing.

Hello...solar installer? Can I make an appointment?

"Hugo said we can look forward to maybe a 20% reduction in WAPA."

Wow! A whole 20% decrease when they already have given us a 300% increase in energy costs in the last 10 years.
PATHETIC!

This is what irks me about Hugo: he wants to compare us to stateside & implement all the rules and fees associated with paying late, meter renting, reconnect fees, etc. BUT, he NEVER has come up with a plan to get us a RATE that is comparable to stateside.

How is it that this man is still running the show, yet has given NOTHING to show to the community?

I don't know how he lives with himself. Some bubble he's got.

What Hugo said should be a wake up call to everyone in the VI.

You best get on with installing solar or wind or both because no matter what is done by WAPA, you are always going to be paying outrageous electricity bills until you take control of it yourself.

Even if you have to borrow money from the bank to fund your installation, you better get on it.

You'll win big time in the long run, no matter how long the payback.

Such is my resolution for 2013. F**K WAPA.

Installed solar in May 2012 and couldn't be happier with it. Also love the 30% tax credit. If the VI Energy organization still was offering credits for solar, you could do it for nearly nothing.
