I love our winter weather. It's wonderful to have it so cool and to contemplate whether to wear a sweater and drag out the comforter.
Wish we had this all year long but am grateful for the months that we do. Wind chimes have had to come down tho as it's been pretty windy in my location and the seas are crashing on the bay below. All in all, pretty darned nice. My WAPA bill also reflects the lack of electrical usage to power an A/C and any ceiling fans. Still wish it was lower, tho!

Don't forget to leave the faucets dripping so the pipes don't freeze!

... Well... thans all for reminding me I am freezing here in Utah.. I get a low of 72 on Weather Underground... and Accuweather says 73, both for Christiansted on Sunday night.. The lowest I saw a couple of years ago at the end of January in Christiansted was 68..

Can't wait to go to STX by the end of this month.. :@)

my Facebook conversation with TWC:

Me: "Near record low of 56" for St.Croix, US Virgin Islands predicted for tonight?
What's up with that? — at Constitution Hill.

The Weather Channel: That's an error, Jill. Thanks for the heads up. I just let our forecasters know. 56 in St. Croix would be one HECK of a cold front!

Me: thank you!
We were about to break out the thermal undies and mittens

I expect we'll be having a warm front move in any moment now! 😀
