Does anyone know of any inexpensive hotels or B&B's near UVI or Charlotte Amalie for a weekend stay. Safe area a must and as affordable as possible! I know that's hard to find but any leads would be great!

Not that close to UVI, but a 10 minute dollar-ride taxi from town (Charlotte Amalie) is Pirate's Cove Marina (www.piratescovevi.com) at $75/night.
Crystal Palace is downtown (Charlotte Amalie)- also very reasonable and clean/well decorated, with a great host (Ronnie).
