There are many things I miss about the island..........one of which is the night sky...........

The sky is amazing at night! Stars stars so many stars!
We would just sit for hours looking up at the twinklers brightly dancing in the dark........I would listen to the sounds of the surf rolling in as the crickets sing to the soft notes of my wind chime adrift in the air. We'd laugh and muse about the quirks of the island while gazing for a shooter to wish upon. I would make so many wishes.........I wish I may I wish I might..........I wish upon this star tonight.......

Trw is correct there is too much bad on this board..............lets fill it with the good life! What do each of you love about your island? And those like me who have left......what are your good memories?

I miss the islands dearly. I live stateside but have a condo in STT that we eventually would like to live permanently. Unfortunately with the way things are right now it won't be anytime soon. We will be back for a week in January.

If I could do anything that I wanted today: Pack a cooler and snorkel at Waterlemon with family and friends, no timetable. Eventually head back to our place for a lazy afternoon nap and hike over to Fungi's for a casual dinner on the water. Follow that with star gazing on the beach and I would be back in paradise.

That is just what I would like to do today. I'll post again with some of my favorite memories.

OK, now I'm really envious of those of you living on the islands. I just checked out the Spicecam and the Magen's Bay webcam. Looks like a beautiful day in paradise.

Going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the waves on the rocks.
The polite drivers( in comparision to AZ).
People seem to be more social.

Funny memory, my son was getting a buzz cut at the barber shop in Cassi Hill and half way through the power went out. He had to walk around for the rest of the day with a half shaved head.
