Have not actively followed any politics since moving here 3 years ago. Mainly because it all seem corrupt. This was posted on my face-book this morning and Alan seems like an interesting candidate

Guess we know who will get the shaft!

It will never happen!

I am on the STX district. But I second that on him seeming to be a good candidate.

Unfortunately if you Google him, there's nothing more to be found. Weird, IMO.

Alan is a bright young man and owner of the popular radio station 104.3 The Buzz out of St. Thomas.

He said that in his video, but that's all he's let us know about him so far. Guess he's using his radio station to get his word out, but I thought I would find him and or his radio station through google and couldn't.

Go to one of his rallies - or two or three - and at the same time question his lack of internet presence.

Um, how can I find rallies if they don't post them online? It's not like he knows where to find me.

Um, not everything is online. The daily newspapers?

I haven't seen an ad for him in the paper. WTJX gave candidates a platform on their website to address voters, and many posted a brief bio and a way to contact them. This guy had nothing but the video.

I don't even see his name/face on his radio website.

A little early yet as they've all been too busy getting their faces splattered all over the roadside billboards! Media blitz soon come!

As many people as there are running, it's going to take time to learn something about them. It costs nothing to do Facebook, so that should be bare minimum. It makes them look like poor planners, IMO.
