Headline: Structural Fire Reported at Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay; Pedestrians, Motorists Advised to Avoid the Area
A structural fire at Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay, St. John has been reported to VITEMA's 911 Emergency Communications Center. The VI Fire Service is advising pedestrians and motorists to avoid the Mongoose Junction area and to use alternate routes. All firefighters are being asked to report for duty.
Pedestrians and motorists are advised to avoid the Mongoose Junction area.

I was thinking about going to St John tomorrow, but thanks to Alana's post which is directed to residents, etc to stay clear of the area, I've decided to postpone my trip.

Supposedly started by dryer in hair salon. Ocean Grill, Caravansary, so probably Tap Room, too. So sad.

Headline: UPDATE: Structural Fire at Mongoose Junction STJ Extinguished; Fire Service Gives the "All Clear" for Vehicular Traffic
Firefighters have extinguished a structural fire that erupted earlier today at Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay, St. John. The structure is currently being monitored for flare ups.
The VI Fire Service has given the "ALL CLEAR" for vehicular traffic in the area.
