-1F last weekend, 60F plus this weekend. Mother nature is confused, and my allergies are acting up in a big way. How do seasonal allergy sufferers fare in the VI?

I've had success using local honey for airborne allergies here

Sahara dust during our summer months and mold and mildew prone areas are likely to affect allergies. Just something to be aware of.

AYes local honey helps symptoms of pollen based allergies. Kind of like a vaccine. The Saraha Dust is another matter. Right now there is something that comes in the air that bothers me in the very early moring hours. The humidity has been 70-80 % for the last few weeks. Usually this time of year is from the Northeast but we have been having SE to North winds lately. Must be El Niño ? The Monsaratte dust was the worst.

Honey from de honey man... red and white label is UHMAZING. I use it all the time and since I gave up processed sugar it goes in all my baking now too. I can not travel to the states anymore without having major sinus issues. I don't have any problems when I travel to other countries which is odd. Went back to AZ in December - had the worst case of allergies and then got hit with the stomach flu towards the end.... told my entire family i wouldn't be coming back to visit again - they have to visit me. So tired if getting so sick every time I go back and for $700+ (X2) tickets its just not worth it. I could literally smell the pollution when we landed there - its so bad. When we landed back home all I could smell was fresh salt air! LOVE IT!

I do get a headache - once or twice a year when the sahara dust is bad and hunny gets really stuffed up with it. Didn't notice it this year at all in STX. Harder to notice with no BVI views being blocked out by it I guess.
