You can order your passport at the Office of the Lt. Governer in Nisky Center on STT.

You can also fill out the application online and print it out to take with you for faster service. The Dept. of State website outlines what documents to have available, the fees to expect, etc. Check out:

Canary,

We went through the same thing 2 months back. My beau printed the application out and took it to the passport office at government house with his three photos and his original birth certificate. He did NOT pay to have it expedited, but it took a mere three weeks to come back -- in august!! Crazy, huh? I hear that people that mail it in from down here are facing considerably longer times, so definitely take it in in person.

You can go to BVIs with photo i.d. and original birth certificate. The downside in planning a trip knowing this is that you have to send in the birth certificate to get the passport, so unless you are flexible with when you go, just take that into account.

Side note: We went to Virgin Gorda, stayed at Guavaberry's, which was a wonderful place, and VG was gorgeous of course.
