On a related topic - I will be on island on STX for Jan and Feb. Do any of the gyms offer temporary memberships? Which do you like? Will the Divi let you use their facilities? Thanks!

You can get a monthly or weekly membership at Beeston Hill fitness center on STX. Good facility with lots of options for getting in a good workout (including classes, which are included in the membership).

Mark Marrin center at Antilles school. The big building closest to the road. Nothing fancy, but some good classes in the AM. Bring lots of H2O and a towel.

UVI has a very nice , recently built gym with reasonable monthly prices especially for seniors.

The Reef condos on the East end of St Croix has a nice exercise room. It is located behind the pro shop/ next door to Good Spirits Deli.

Daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal memberships are available to the public.

UVI Wellness Center is in STT; a lovely facility. They sell memberships as well as class sessions cards to attend the group fitness classes only. There is also Extreme Fitness over by Cost U Less - small but always super clean! A little more expensive than UVI, however...

Another vote for Extreme. Sea Grape at the Elysian is small but also has a salon, massage therapy, etc. There is also Paradise Gate at the Havensight dock. It opens at 4:00 or 4:30am, probably the closest to 24 hour around here. It will probably depend on what is convenient for you.
