Anyone eat at Ono's in fredriksted yet ?

My significant other had a steak there last night with some buddies and raved about it. He also raved about the vegetables and said they were all very fresh and pricing was good too. $25 for some ridiculously huge porterhouse steak and so on. So looks like this may be a good one!

You know where we had a -really- good steak last night? --The Brew Pub on the StX boardwalk.
TWICE now. Go figure.

I'm still looking for a good Mexican restaurant on StX. I hear Cohiba's used to be? Has it reoopened? Other places?

Oh yeah...I had dinner with some friends the other night at Ono's. They had been there before, but it was my first time. We shared a calamari steak appetizer that had the consistency of fried cool butter. IT WAS FABULOUS! None of us had steak, so can't compare it to any other place on the island...but we did all share bites with each other on the seafood, and I still remember how good it was, each bite I took of my friends dinners! I live east, but we'll take a trip back for a dinner that good. I almost hate to post this, as we might have a hard time getting a table the next time we go, but I just gotta give a good word where and when it's due...
