Anyone know what might have been happening on STT last night (8/26) near UVI??

I was driving towards UVI last night around 6:30PM, and just past the Exxon building on the left, there was one of those orange nets that is used to rope off construction or something normally and there was just a lot of howling coming from it. Sounded like dogs, a lot of them, but it was a little too dark to see. The people in the car in front of me swerved over to park and the passenger got out right away (not a good idea btw) and was shouting, "what the hell??!" as soon as he got out.

I had wondered if it was one of those dog fighting rings you hear about from time to time, but that seemed like way too exposed of a place to do such a thing, plus there was only one woman standing there and she was just on her phone.

Just curious if anyone had a clue what might have been happening? Had I not been showing a new friend around the island I probably would have stopped myself.

Pass the turn off to the airport, heading towards UVI, Community Motors is on your right...the private jets on your left and there's the building. I realize Exxon is off the island these days, but the sign is still there.

It`s just where he said it is, it`s on the left traveling west.<<(this is then fenced in area, where the private planes are, right?)
I was to go to the UVI, I will be there early next week, I`ll have a look.

I`d HATE to think there was dog fighting!
I will & do stick up for animals!
