The magazines Oct 2009 issue just did a nice article five (5) full pages, the Title "ST Croix A Virgin Isle to call home." They even have a picture of Jody Starr from Bacchus. Real good PR for the island.

ah the "shaggy waiter" he's so cool and when he drinks he likes to dance,he used to come up to the sunset grill on full moon party nights and just dance away all by himself,truly a nice guy

hmmmph i never did,but i did yell at his current girlfriend last year for letting him get fat,lol i told her"he used to be hot until he started going out with you and now he's all fat and dumpy" and well she just laughed at me, i was really drunk one night at the sunset party and i think i asked him to marry me, it was him or stuart the diaper guy from the back of the lost dog float i can't remember,i know i proposed to one of them and i know one of them gave me a ride home but i can't remember which one it was

Jody is one of my closest and best friends on the island. He's really one of the most unique and good people I've ever met. He and I have been through some CRAZY times together.
I've gotta get me a copy of that mag! 🙂

Maybe Jody will go with Katherine & Frank when they open EAT@Cane Bay--we can only hope.

Really Cane Bay? Because all the other restaurants do so well up there? So just frustrated, don't want it to be that far away.

Yeah, Jody's a cool guy. I recently helped him get his TV working and he was on his way to one of the schools to do some juggling and tie ballons into objects for the kids. Very talented dude and generous with his time. Hope to see this issue.

Yay! I vote for Jody too! I love people who are genuienly happy and smiling, are nice to others by habit...and by nature... and who don't hesitate to contribute to their community in positive ways.... and he is like that. So glad he is in the article, can't wait to see it. This island is full of a lot of nice, unique, fun people. We are lucky like that. The sense of community is one of the major reasons I'm still living here. Love my friends.! Love this island!
(Sadly... there are a fair share of selfish , self absorbed, wierdo's on island too).

BTW, Lizard, where did you see that issue? I went on their website and it doesn't look like that issue has even been released yet.
