I am moving to St. Martin with my company in a few months...with kids...are we just CRAZY!? Are there any comments from parents on the island , who are not tourists?

Thanks!

L

are you moving to st. thomas or "st. martin"?
you might want to clarify to ensure that you receive appropriate responses.
either way, i'm sure you are not crazy and, in fact, your family is in for a grand time!

Yes, I meant St. Thomas. Thank you. I will be flying in in mid-march and start working in June when I move with my wife and two kids. Infact we will be staying in my CEO's villa for a couple of months while we get situated ( http://www.kingsbluff.com/).

Its a huge change for us I have lived in Colorado for 23 years and I am ready for a pleasnt change:)

We are looking forward to meeting new people in such a beautiful place!

Thank you

Lucas

Just curious....what company do you work for and how do I land a job there also? My wife and I are taking our first trip to STT and STJ in May, and I can already tell from my research that I am not going to want to get back on that plane home.

Enjoy! Sounds like a chance of a lifetime.

For anyone responding, how is the price of living in STT? Are there many "normal" jobs, say in banking/finance, etc?

"Normal"? ...you should consult.

With millions of dollars in revenue generated from tourists visiting the islands, I am sure (with proper marketing) you could consult as an expert finance person for some international company on vacation. Learn to "schmooze" a little...or we could find one more person, form a trio, and sing for food.

Either way, I'd rather do it on St. Thomas!

😉
