We will be moving to St. Thomas this summer. Currently we have 2 vehicles- an Ford Explorer (4x4) and a Nissan Sentra. My husband's company will provide shipping for one so that's all we intend on bringing. Any suggestions on which may be better, or should we purchase a more appropriate vehicle before moving?

Cindy: 4X4s are popular because they get you up in the air so you can see. The weight is also a plus. These are the same arguments as in the states. The third argument depends on where you live- and that is that there are some VERY steep roads and driveways. Any car that is trouble free is a good bet, too!

Well cindy: the best vehicle for St.Thomas would be the 4x4 ford explorer because the island have many hills and steep roads.When you drive with the 4x4 it will be much easier to drive.A regular car is also ok but the jeeps or trucks are better. So what you have is fine. Don't worry about it. Enjoy !!!!!!!
