I would be interested in the position. I have experience doing custom framing. Would it be a full time position? I have been giving some real thought to relocating to ST.Thomas, but St. john is just lovely. If you could give me the details of your requirements i will send a resume.Thank you

My girlfriend will be arriving in USVI at the end of Feb. She has extensive experience doing framing and photo work for local artists. Would you be willing to sponsor? I am American but she is a Canadian citizen. If you are interested, I will have her forward he resume to you. Thank you very much and have a great day.

ok - Nate....I will try and make this a little clearer. A US business has to have advertised the position for SIX months in the US media and received NO suitable replies from US citizens for them to consider hiring an alien. The cost of sponsoring is mega thousands of dollars , lawyers, filing fees etc. It is usually only done for corporate positions, financial firms, med-surgical positions, computer wonks etc.
There are really no employers of that ilk on the islands and picture framing would certainly not qualify as a highly specialized skill ...I refer to the post immediately before yours. Your girlfriend is not going to be able to use "work" to get to the Islands.
If you guys get married and you have the cash and the determination, then further on down the road, you might be able to get her a green card. Until then, I would remain stateside or have a long distance relationship.
