Is anyone else experiencing problems with AT&T cell service in the Princess area? Signal seemed to be degrading during the week. This morning it's popping in and out. But for the most part it's non existent.

Follow Up: I just got off the phone with AT&T. The tower at Little Princess Hill is "severly degraded". A service ticket has been generated. Problem should be fixed "today or tomorrow".

Thanks for the info. Glad it will be fixed soon as this is annoying.

The best solution given the frequent probl3ms AT&T has with its cell towers is to obtain a MicroCell from AT&T then when their towers go down and you are at home you can make and receive cell phone calls using your cell phone because the calls are routed to and from you using your Internet service.

It also improves weak signal that you might have indoors.

They used to charge $200 for microcell but I have friends in stt that got theirs for free. I wonder if they are free these days.

We currently have Sprint and have not had many issues lately (a couple years ago that was not the case!). I had been considering switch to AT&T but am wondering if I might just be setting myself up for new problems. I know this topic has probably been beat to death on this board already, but if anyone has any gems to share on either service, I'd appreciate it!
