I am buying a car for my vacation home on St Croix. Would appreciate recommendation of an insurance company with best rates and customer service.
Thanks

Do you qualify for USAA? If so, they are the best.

I am also a former marine. We have USAA for insurance and their rates and customer service are excellent. If you are looking at financing a vehicle you should look to them as well. Very easy to deal with and great rates. Semper Fi

if you qualify for AARP, Real Legacy (in PR) is about half what the local companies charge here on STX!

USAA rocks! I have auto and homeowner's insurance with them. Excellent customer service, great rates, and as a member, I get periodic dividends which they apply directly to my bill.

Agree, when we lived there we had our car insurance through Legacy on PR and it was exactly 1/2 for better coverage. They have a local adjuster on STX so if you have a problem or accident, no worries.

Thanks all. I got a quote from USAA for less than half the cost that I was quoted from an insurance company in Christenstead.
