Hello,

I have just a few quick questions? How much money per month does one need to make in order to survive on St Thomas?? Any input would be appreciated. I mean rent, food, gas, utilities, entertainment, misc, etc?? What do you guys spend on average per month? If I was to get like a waiter job would I be able to pay my bills??

Thanks...

Hello,

Check out the cost of living section at

http://vimovingcenter.com/cost_of_living/

for rent, gas, electricity, phone, grocery prices... you can figure a budget based on that.

If you worked at a busy restaurant and were a good waiter... yes you can make good money and support yourself during season... during off-season when things are slower you might need a second job. If you had debt following you; school bills ect. you might need a second job. If you were at a slower restaurant you might need two jobs and/or a room-mate to share the bills with. So it depends on your bills/budget and also on where you are working.
