Rum + Cow = Good Drink

Here's a centuries-old rum drink recipe I recently found:

BUB

Take a quantity of rum, sweeten it well with sugar, milk a cow into it; it will curdle; skim it off; then milk into it again, and it makes a delicious beverage.

Can anyone sell me a cow?

Hmmm. Very strange. Does rum and milk really go together?

Hello,

Teresa... have you stopped by the St. Thomas Dairy Stand yet to get a milk shake (they have some yummy ones with and without alcohol)?

We northerners know from our vastwinter exeriences that some dairy products go very well with rum, but I can't say that I'm quite ready to trade in my hot buttered rum for anything that involves two milkings and a curdling.

FOG, if you ever get around to trying this, you will let us know about it, right?

Well, there are some cows just down the road. Maybe the farmer could show me how to milk one.

The dairy is just right up the street from Magen's Bay on St. Thomas. It is in the sharp curve before Magen's. That is the best way I can give directions, sorry! Worth searching for, I promise!

Follow road past Mahagony Run, which you should pass on your right. When the road ends take a right and it will be right in front of you about 20 yards down.

ENJOY
