Bad Customer Service STX

The manager needs better customer service skills.

What's so funny is that I found out the rude employee was actually the director or manager for the Dept of Finance STX! I was so shocked but mostly embarrassed because I knew if she treated me this way, she probably treated others the same way. Why expect professionalism from the front desk employees if management doesn't even have any.

"I had to correct them and now they say their good mornings." Did they all vote to make you the manners police or did you just assume the responsibility?

janeinstx, i was thinking the same thing. i went to a customer service training at the college not long ago and the guy said that when you correct someone about that you are being just as rude as you think they are being.

accept the "hey" and be done with it. I say hi, hello, hey, how are ya and good morning/night. sometimes i dont say anything.
