Teresa, here's a heads up on your drivers license DRIVING test, should you have to take it.

If you do not pass the first "exercise" you will have failed the test and it will go no further on that day....case closed! Period!

It is performed in the parking lot behind the BMV, and lots of people fail it. Knowing what's expected before hand might give you a little heads up.

You will be required to BACK UP between 4 traffic cones that are very very tight to your car - two just off your left and right front and two at the rear. If you hit ONE, the test is OVER!!!!

My advice, practice, practice, practice. And for heaven's sake take your time, you don't have to be going a set rate of speed BUT you DO HAVE TO KEEP THE CAR MOVING once you start backing in!!! You can NOT stop to correct the path you are steering.

Once you have successfully backed in, you then need to drive forward, out of the 4 cones...again without touching any of them!!!

Good luck.

Yuck- my drivers test in the states was a breeze compared to this cone thing, and I was 15 years old when I took mine.
