For a fun day out & to see some pretty amazing pets, Barktoberfest is your best bet this Sunday on the beach at Bolongo. Lots of contests for the pooches: best kisser, best tail wagger, best costume & more with some pretty nifty prizes. Noon to 5:00 with proceeds going to the Humane Society of STT. There will be some pets from the Shelter available for adoption, too. Last year, the artist Pita Gonzales was making up tote bags with pics of people's pets on them. Don't know if he'll be there this year or not but you're guaranteed to have a good time, even if you don't have a pet.

We got bark fest day and night where I live. I'm about to strangle the neighbor's dogs!
