I am moving to St.Croix and I am concerned about missing the upcoming Football season. Does anyone know of any local establishments that have love for the Purple... or if anyone knows of any places that show Packers games - so I know to stay out of those places?

If you find a bar that has the football package, you will be okay. But if not, you will only be able to watch four games offered on Sundays. It was easier before when you could get the package on c-band satelite, but now it's only offered on Direct TV and we don't get it here unless you figure a way to get it hooked up with a Puerto Rican address. At that point it may only be in Spanish I am told. Still investigating it.

I have the same problem with missing Eagles games. On vacation, we have been able to catch games over at the Bitter End in Virgin Gorda. They have a sattelite feed, just have to ask someone to try and find the game. One trip was very funny, there was a wedding being held there with a bunch of people from phila, so there was lots of rowdyness going on during the game. I heard skinny legs can get the games, but im not sure how often your team will be on.

The Caribbean Saloon does a good job getting games, though I don' t think they have the package. Like Ronnie said in an earlier post, Direct TV is weird. I think they just have satellites and try and get lucky picking up games. Like I said they do a good job. The other place to watch the games would be the Shipwreck Tavern.

Hi Island Paul,

Yes we should have been packing or more truthfully - getting rid of stuff that we don't need. This is Teresa writing. We can't wait to meet you. Kids are looking forward to milkshakes and hitting the beach.
