Hello all, I am moving to STT around Oct 1rst, I plan on using some contacts I have here in the states to help me get a job bartending or waiting tables when I first get down here. I have heard very different stories on how much an average server or bartender walks away with each night, obviously each establishment will be different, but if anyone out there has experience in these fields, if you have a ballpark figure, I'd be interested in hearing it, in order to help me better manage my finances over this move, thanks ya'll

The range is varied and wide....like, some places the bartender will get his shift-pay and maybe walk with $50 in tips....other places, he'll work just for tips...other places, he'll get shift-pay, shift-meal and walk with $300 in tips....it just depends on where you work....and how good you are at your job...
