Anyone know who buys used batteries on STX? I've got quite a collection of dead car and boat batteries.

You can take them to HH Tire and they will take them without giving you anything unless you are buying a new one. The scrap yard next to VI Cargo takes them but offers no cash either. I usually leave them out back of my building by the dumpster and they just "disappear". The link below indicates that they are worth somewhere between $5 and $10 bucks.Someone actually stole the battery right out of my car about a year ago in Gallows Bay.

Well that's dissapointing. I thought I was sitting on a freakin gold mine. At least enough to pay for my next johnnycake.

Right next to VI Cargo there is a salvage place there not sure of the name
They do pay. We sold a bunch of old solar batteries.
