Bay Gardens

Not a bad area - hard working decent tenants in the main. It is fairly central - not far to Christiansted and Sunny Isle. Reasonably safe, I believe.
However you should go and check out the area yourself before making any commitment - lease or purchase. Only you can tell if it is an OK place for you.

Nothing fancy but inexpensive. Some of the units have been remodeled and others aren't in great condition, so take a look at the unit being offered to check condition. There is an electronic security gate to enter the complex and limited parking. This is on the western outskirts of Christiansted, just a few blocks from the Pueblo grocery store and a McDonald's, Subway, banks, KFC, and other conveniences. I don't think they have a pool. Some units have an ocean view and others are right down on the road and don't have a view or a breeze. Long Reef condos are next door and sometimes there are vacancies there, also. They have a pool. Not far from the beaches along condo row, but probably further than is convenient to walk, especially with an ice chest and beach stuff.
