Not very practical. Almost impossible on St Johns or St Thomas, if you are a strong cyclist could be done on St Croix.

Hills are very steep, no shoulders on most roads, blind curves, tourists not used to driving on wrong side of road., pot holes, sand and mud on road and it rains many days someplace on the island making the roads even mare hazardous.

Roads too narrow, twisty, blind curves, no shoulders, massive potholes, absolutely NOT a good choice.

Young children in my neighborhood ride bikes for fun down the hills and work their way back up.

Using them to get around............no.
