Can any one tell me if the Blackberry technology is supported on St. Thomas?

Thank you!

My father arrived on STT yesterday and on landing it was not connecting. He was told that they do work by someone who was recently on the island. If my father does get in connected I'll let you know the details.

Cindy:

In October (2005) my Blackberry (T-Mobile) worked fine on the East End of STT.

I suppose the question is for which carrier your phone has. As long as there is a carrier it will work. We have Cingular and Sprint. Lots of Blackberrys here.

Thanks for the input, actually I de-activated my service for my Blackberry when I moved to southern Arizona as there is no cellular signal where I live but I wanted to bring my Blackberry for work purposes when I move to STT and wanted to know if there was a local provider that could work with my equipment.

I see people with Blackberrys that use Cingular.
