No marine mammals should be continued to be captured and held in captivity. EVER!

See this link: http://www.magpictures.com/blackfish/#

This goes for Coral World's ill conceived plans for captive dolphins.

Y'all know how I feel about this by now.

Stop buying tickets and keeping these beautiful creatures in captivity for amusement and greed.

I saw this trailer and really wanted to see it... too bad they're not playing it here...

I used to love Seaworld but that was before I know better. Good thing there is this documentary now, and mainstream media has been writing on it. So hopefully more and more people will understand why it isn't right to hold these animals captive.

What's Coral World?

Coral World is STT's Aquarium that has been ill run and losing money (read Tax write-off/EDC benefits for rolling years according to their own admissions) that is now looking to spend $6-7Million to expand with captive Dolphins plus a breeding pool. The owners are wealthy, very well connected and one sits on the board of directors for the Humane Society of STT, which when the entire board was contacted refused to come out in opposition the this travesty. One cannot pick and choose which species to protect as a HUMANE SOCIETY but when one of the owners sit on this board, ETHICS go out the window. A complete and toatal lack of fiduciary responsibility lies within this board.
It is still awaiting approval by NOAA/ARMY Corps of Engineering due to the location up wind of Coki Beach but however has been passed (with minimal reservations) by CZM so local field has been cleared.

I cannot in good conscience support this and the continued efforts to have these family oriented, intelligent and wide roaming marine mammals kept in captivity. Please do not continue to support or buy tickets to these attractions.

Please read this 76 page scientific document:

If you need more links or reading I can provide them.
