They evidently evacuated the ship and have not let anyone back aboard. Some pictures on Facebook including Ronnie setting up tents.

Even a small engine room fire can cause a lot of damage.
At least, they are in port.

Any updates or Facebook link?

I saw Ronnies link and they were setting up tents and apparently food as Ronnie mentioned it was gone as fast as it appeared.
Looks like passengers may have to overnight here but whether they're allowed back on boat or may need other accommodations, guess we'll have to wait and see.

What?No Lee Carle reporting the 'beautiful orange and purple flames" like the night the Angelina Lauro burned.

Someone else mentioned that on Facebook.
In fact aside from the one Vitema notice and a mention on Facebook there hasn't been any other info that I've read or heard about what's happening with ship and passengers.
Maybe in tomorrow's newspapers?

The all clear to board has been issued according to Carnival's Facebook page. Whether the ship leaves tonight is up in the air.
