Power out in my location in Dorothea so called line dept.
The lady I spoke with said there's problem with one of their units (23) so will be rotating power until problem resolved. My power due back on at 11AM.
Just an FYI.

We lost our power at 2 in Peterborg my wife said. Having a rental with a generator now.. WAPA who?

I have a generator as well, luckily, as was in middle of washing my hair when power went off and was rather sudsy. I'd have been pretty pissed off if I didn't have a generator and extra containers of water on hand.
If WAPA would just let people know, in advance, if possible or go on radio, if not possible in advance but say something to give the public an opportunity to prepare and keep them informed of why, when and for how long. However that would command a level of service that is non existent. Wonder how much Jean Greaux is getting paid as their spokesperson. Another waste of money.
Meanwhile, I still have to purchase diesel and oil for the generator to be prepared for the numerous, surprise outages in perfect weather.

I have seen no schedules as they repair generator 23 have you?

Mine just went off again at 7pm.
Not on posted schedule for rotation.

There was no rotation list when I checked earlier. We were off 2-630

THEY POST SCHEDULES AFTER YOUR POWER HAS ALREADY GONE OFF.
I got a VITEMA Alert at 4:47 PM. Long after WAPA began power rotations began early morning.
My second outage wasn't listed tho it didn't last long....about 25 min.
