Have you considered e-Bay? That's where I turn for lotsa stuff I can't find here...But, I'll tell ya, the bread at Deli Grotto on STJ is the best darn bread on the planet! I get the multi-grain, I think it's about $3.75 a loaf. AWESOME!!

Amazon is also pretty good about shipping here and they sell lots of different brands of breadmakers.

But Marty, if you add the ferry fare to the price of the bread, that makes for mighty expensive bread! Almost as much as those donuts you like!! 😉

Inge: I bought a Welbilt breadmaker at Cost-U-Less several years ago. You might check with them to see if they expect to have them again. Also did you check Home Depot? And the other idea is the "leaving island" sales in the Island Trader.

One thing I've noticed lately about K-Mart is that they may not have something at the store in the country, but the Lockhart Gardens store may stock the item. Or not! 😀

EE-That may be true, but I've been utilizing friends that have to travel over there for work purposes and I just have them pick it up for me...and NO delivery charges! yay! Now, if I could just make a donut sandwich with that bread! YUM! Haha!

Hello there. I do not make bread or actually cook in general, and that is certainly not bragging. Just a qualification! Have you tried the flea market or second hand stores? Not looking for one, I have seen at least a dozen on STX over the past year. They looked new, the staff said they worked as they were gifts that went unused....still had the Welcome to Your Breadmaker booklet in several of them, and I believe they were pretty inexpensive.

Just an idea. Also, if I see one in the next few days, i will let you know right away.

Best wishes,

Dan
