Is this wind from the outer bands of H. Igor? Clothes on the line are drying in record time on the northside of STT!

CCW rotation + Western Leading Edge = Cool North wind from Igor. That's how we like 'em!

I still laugh every time I see someone wearing a jacket when it is 70 degrees outside down here. Yes, we are weather snobs. 🙂

The night security personel at Hovensa actually wear parkas when it gets below 70 degrees. Ya have to laugh when you know from years of experience that the coat they are wearing, was made for a Midwest or Minnesota winter.:D And they have the hood up LOL

It is interesting how you adjust though. Some cool winter nights on STX that get down to 68 or so actually feel cold-ish. The longer you're here the more you wonder if you could actually survive a winter up north. Let alone survive a week in january to visit. Yikes!
I tell them,

STX here.....yes. I thought it was starting to be an early winter. The nights are WONDERFUL, cool, crisp, great sleeping. For whatever reason, what a wonderful respite after a particularly hot summer! Morning Temp in Christiansted: 75 degrees.
