Livestock and fowl are generally restricted to A-1 & A-2 (agriculture) zoned properties. That's not to say that all people follow the zoning rules and regs.

STX has more horses/flat land to ride on so maybe someone who owns horses there can fill you in.

FYI, Horses are not considered Live stock and do not need A-1 or A-2 zoning, more of concern is the home owners association rules.

if your on STX you can get a hold of us, we run a horse rescue and are very familiar with the horse breeding community and local horses.

look us up on facebook (Cruzancow girls) or our website www.cruzancowgirls.com there's a few considerations you need to be aware of with local horses, but we'd love to help 😉

Few people follow laws because so few laws are enforced.
