Don't be late, but just today we were running late and still got on, with a few minutes wait to get everyone loaded.. but sometimes they do close the entrance gate on time so they can finish loading the vehicles that are already in the lot...

and ask for a roundtrip if you're planning to come back, that should be cheaper (don't lose your receipt!). 8)

Round trip versus one way is debatable. The operators don't honor each other's tickets and for many it's simpler to purchase one way tickets so they can take the first ferry leaving rather than waiting for "theirs" to come around. It's only a $10 difference in price.
