Good night,

Two questions for those more seasoned than myself.

1. What's the best car insurance on STT?

2. We are due to renew our car insurance and we have to present our drivers license. I still have my stateside license as well as my husband. Will they accept this?

I have used PGU. And in the past they have accepted my stateside license without issue. But if you have been here 90 days or more, you should just go ahead and get your VI license. It's not that difficult of a process as long as you have a valid stateside license.

I've used Theodore Tunick for decades and, although I've never had to make a claim, I'm perfectly happy with their rates and business efficiency/professionalism.

This may go without saying but just in case. If you are eligible to get USAA insurance that is definitely the way to go.

I went to Guardian. I have a state side license. No problems at all. Even with the registration and inspection. I don't know how other insurance companies price out theirs but Guardian starts with a minimum amount of liability for under $200.00. If you want PIP, uninsured/under insured motorist etc. it's extra.
