The Caricom Nations representatives have gone to Washington to complain about the overly generous subsidies given to Diageo USVI which they say are in violation of the World Trade Center Agreements the US has in effect.

We're the rum deals really a deal? Mind you I believe that having rum companies here is fantastic, but did we hammer out a good deal?

Caricom doesn't stand a chance with the WTO. Deals like this are done all the time in the US and Canada and many other countries for that matter. The little third world Caricom countries know they can't compete with the generous subsidies advanced economies can offer.
