so what cell phone service do most of you use down there? I use t-mobile and i absolutely love it I have unlimited everything for $60. Has anyone taken t-mobile down there? I know the company has contracts to use other towers as well so if I know what towers are down there I can ask if my service will work there. I just dont like signing contracts to pay 120 a month so I would really like to keep my service when I move. Also do most places have public wifi access such as restaurants and bars and shops?

Unless something has changed in the past few years T-Mobile in the Virgin Islands is a roaming charge. At least that was the situation several years ago when I cancelled my T-Mobile account in favor of AT &T. T-Mobile did not renew their agreement with a Puerto.Rico based company to cover the Virgin Islands.
