OK fellow islanders to be, I have a question. First of all, Good Day!
My wife and I were planning to move to STT to open a business serving the retail / tourist crowd. With much soul searching, we have decided to move to the islands and get "regular" jobs.
My background is restaurant management, but I am in the process of getting my Master's license to join the boating industry. Her background is retail management with a bigger background in the tech field. She was a software engineer in a past life.
Question of the day is, which island of the 3 would better serve our search for those "regular" jobs. (Don't take that personally, I know we all bust our collective butts)
Thanks for your thoughts on the matter!:-)

St Thomas...unless you want the slow season off St John.
Working for yourself is a bitch!
And, so, being self unemployed you can't get "free" benifits(even though you have to pay for them).
So, yup, work for someone else unless you can fill a nitch (& afford many weeks/months w/O pay)
