I know we all have to do a lot of running around for our "stuff" and we all want to save money. I figure this thread might be useful for us.

for example, I need cigarettes (American spirits) and Rum (dark Cruzian). Anybody know who has the best price on them?

I was going to just ask for me, but this might work for all of us.

Jamison, they have American Spirit at Stop & Shop out in F'sted. I think they were $32.

Kmart has the cheapest rum.

Don't know about American Spirits, but Marboros were $25 a carton Friday at Kmart in Sunny Isle.

Anybody seen milk for less than 5.99/gallon?

Pueblo has the best short sales on dairy products --- we go through milk, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese like crazy at our house, and we always hit Pueblo because they often have them at 50% off or more when they're expiring soon. They also have frozen waffles for about 1/4 of the price of any other store I've seen.

Loving Quality Foods, check it out if you haven't already! Produce might be a little more expensive, but seems much fresher and lasts longer.

Quality is just west of Food Town on the opposite side of the road.

Food Town has day-old beef for about 40% off, nothing wrong with the meat if you use it pretty quick. Just don't buy the green ones. 🙂

Probably meant Quality Food in Castle Coakley. Not Quality Grocers in La Grande Princess.
