I have just posted my account of having what I assume to be Chikungunya (won't get the test results for a month) on our blog. If you are interested in reading about the symptoms that I experienced, check it out. If anything I can guarantee that you will want to use more bug spray after reading about this virus. It was a nightmare!
I am still experiencing a slight rash, fatigue, joint pain and now am showing signs of Raynaud’s phenomenon where my hands are becoming numb and hurt. This is a terrible terrible virus. I had no idea it was going to be so bad!
I hope my account of this virus helps someone out there who is trying to live through the symptoms 🙂

What is scary is that if it takes 2 weeks to get confirmed results, there could be dozens of other people out there with it and the public will not get notifications about how wide spread it is until it is too late.
